How I Can Help

Beginning therapy can be a challenge, and finding a therapist who is the right fit for you may be an additional challenge. As a Psychotherapist, I specialize in management of Personality Disorders, Complex Trauma and Related Disorders, Anxiety, Depression and Life Transitions.

I believe that because every person is different, a variety of treatment approaches are needed to best serve each client. I take an eclectic and psychoanalytic approach, and practice Psychotherapy informed by concepts of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.

The goal of our intake session is to begin building a strong supportive connection, and zero in on key areas of focus during your experience. My approach with you will be person-centered and individualized based on your needs.

Therapy will be a collaborative experience, and my role is to be a supportive guide who will provide an active listening space, and ask open-ended questions with intent to evoke deeper thought and help you to uncover root causes of current behavioral patterns.

I also focus on provision of psychoeducation and coping skill development. I believe that therapy outcomes are measured by consistent engagement, establishment of tangible goals, and a strong therapeutic connection.
