COMMON QUESTIONS

Do you accept my insurance?

We are in-network providers with Aetna, UnitedHealthcare, and Oxford. For all other insurances, we provide reimbursements. We will reach out to your insurance company to confirm your eligibility and benefits, obtain a payment quote for each session, and submit claims on your behalf.

If you have an out-of-network plan, any reimbursements will be sent directly to you via mail. Insurance typically reimburse 50-80% of the of the fee, but note that each policy is different.

Do you offer a sliding scale?
If you need to pay out of pocket, we offer a sliding scale as part of our commitment to providing affordable care.
What will therapy cost me?
We believe that healthcare is a right and that includes mental health care. This is why our practice accepts insurance and makes out-of-network plans accessible to you.
Do you offer telehealth or in-person sessions?
We have found that our clients appreciate the convenience and flexibility that remote therapy provides and at this time exclusively offer virtual telehealth.
How long is each session?
You can expect each session to last 50-60 minutes.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and HSA/FSA cards.
What is your cancellation policy?
Your therapist sets aside a weekly appointment slot just for you. If you miss a session or cancel an appointment with less than 24 hours’ notice, you will be charged at your therapist’s cancellation rate. Please be aware that insurance doesn’t cover the cost of missed sessions or any associated late fees.
How do I schedule my first session?

We are excited to join you on your therapy journey. You can contact us directly to set up a phone consultation.
