Elizabeth Boylan
Licensed Master Social Worker
Hi, I’m Elizabeth Boylan. I specialize in Trauma and CPTSD, Personality Disorders, Grief and Loss, Anxiety, Depression.
I work with adolescents and adults ages 14+ and take a Psychodynamic, Relational, Attachment-based, approach utilizing psychoeducation and concepts from EMDR, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy through a trauma-informed, anti-oppressive lens.
How I Can Help
Beginning therapy can be scary, and finding a therapist you connect with is extremely important in order to foster vulnerability and growth. As a psychotherapist, I specialize in the management of Personality Disorders, Complex Trauma and related disorders such as Dissociative Disorders, Anxiety, Depression, and Grief and Loss.
I believe that we all grow and learn in our own ways and I hope to reflect this through tailored psychoeducation and therapeutic modalities to encourage my clients to feel empowered, safe in the world, and be the best versions of themselves. I practice psychotherapy using a psychodynamic approach, utilizing trauma-informed techniques such as EMDR and somatic-based interventions, in addition to Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Behavior Therapy.
The goal of our intake session is to foster a safe environment and build a strong supportive connection. My approach is person-centered and focused on your individual needs. We will work together to set goals and find ways to build strong connections with yourself and others.
Providing coping skills, and psychoeducation when needed will help you build the life you want.
I believe strongly in fostering safety in the therapeutic environment so you can feel secure navigating the world.
